Alexander McQueen introduced his studio in 1992. His real name is Lee McQueen. He was the son of a Taxi driver. He had no formal education but the director of Central St Martins College of Art & Design for a Masters Degree admitted him because he took one look at his work. He is one of the most and well experienced fashion designer in London. Before opening the studio he became very popular that’s why he changed his name Lee to Alexander. He won the title of 'British Designer of the Year' in 1996, 1997 and again in 2001.
